It is based on the diagnosis (and, btw, the word that it was not dark is a diagnosis but a description of symptoms), but on whether or not you are totally disabled.
You need to completely disabled and needs to have contributed to the plan sufficient time (received 40 quarters or 10 years) on a disability pension.

I do not know, but you get SS disability, have a physical or mental disability before the age of 21 or 22.
