Say, the stamp in red ink "VT385 Van Gogh: Sunflowers 18x24" you can immediately know that it is a digital reproduction. It can be a breeding age, but is a reproduction. It could be reproducing seventies, but he still is.

In general, the reproductions are of little value unless the joy they bring to the person just the art.

The only exception would be if the reproduction is limited for a business, print production from a well-known artists and collectors.

It's just a print on canvas. It's mass production and reproduction is worthless. Because of his age, the printing technology is not as good as it is today.

If you bought a Van Gogh, you should know its value.

His paintings have sold somewhere between 40 and 100 million.

I'm pretty sure that all their pictures are cataloged. 871 tables of all. It would be very rare, but possible, an unknown Van Gogh was published today.

You can buy for $ 10 a book entitled "Van Gogh The Complete Paintings. It is a catalog of all his pictures. You can see, if you bought it to make sure that there is a reproduction. If you don ' not the book you can get professional advice from an auction house like Christie's or Sotheby's.

Good luck!

Enjoy your painting 100 million!

Sotheby's and Christie can help ..... are also online.

Too often in the study of art students copy masterworks.

You are your best option is to go to an art dealer. Are not likely to go to an image and not worth much. But hey, you never know ...
